The accursed automobile

I'm never buying another car ever again. Bus pass for life, yo.

I *heart* my bus pass. I'm not quite ready to ditch the car, though. I still need once a week. Still, saving mad money on gas, yo.

Unfortunately, my problem isn't gas money. It's the $2500 transmission the car I bought less than 3 months ago needs.

Icky. Might as well just drive it into the ground.

It looks like I've already done that, in record time.

...as long as there's a bus to Cleveland...

Ugh, I know. I expect to have this sorted out by Feb though.

well if you know anyone who can install transmissions you can find them for half the price at junk yards. preferably bring the old tranmission with you. Not that you would do this but just an idea- my friend gets parts from junk yards all the time.

That's not a bad idea, but unfortunately I don't really know any mechanics. Most of my friends are computer geeks, with the occasional leather worker or blacksmith thrown in.
