Ok, let me just start off by saying that Dexcon was awesome. If you're a gamer reading this and you weren't there, you missed out on some awesome gaming. You should go to its sister con Dreamation in January. Seriously, you know all the horror stories about con games? Well, the gaming here will cure the con blues. We have the indie scene to thank for it, but some just fucking rocking games get run.
How about a rundown of the games I was in as an example?
( Click here for decriptions of the games: Primetime Adventures, Deliria, Dictionary of Mu, With Great Power, and Ganakagok. )
You know what though? It's not even really the games, but the people you get to play them with. Gaming with and hanging out with the rest of the "indie crowd" is pretty cool. These are intelligent people who like to think about gaming, and it shows.
PS - Burning Empires looks fucking hot. I didn't manage to get into any of the demos, but it looks like the game I've always wanted to play. It just might be the Best. Game. Ever. I can't wait to get my grubby mitts on a copy.
