Ok, I got a little story for you. Sometime between last Thursday afternoon and Friday evening, a large pile of gaming stuff vanished from our kitchen counter. I've been trying to track it all down since Friday. I know it was there Thursday, because a friend borrowed 2 books from the stack. Then the rest vanished, about 8-9 books, a box of magic cards, and some miscellaneous stuff like dice.

So, I keep asking around. None of the house mates know anything. Greg only took the 2 books. Nobody brought them to Virg's. I finally get a hold of Dan last night, and he doesn't have them.

At this point, the suspicion falls on Jen, one of my house mates. She's hidden gaming stuff on us in the past out of spite, and I thought she might have done it again and lied about it. So I'm talking to Rick, and he suggests that I look in her room, to see if it's there. I decide to take a quick look, and that's all it took. Within 10-15 seconds I see my box of magic decks on the floor of her closet.

This in itself, although damning, isn't necessarily enough to show larcenous intent. However there are several other factors that are contributing to my rising anger. First, there's the fact that she's more than a little bit in debt to me and Felicia for household bills. Second, just recently she was asking me where she could find out what magic cards were worth. She claimed that she had some at home and she wanted to sell them, so I pointed her to a price guide magazine.

This all adds up to a very irate Bob. I have serious issues with thievery. I'm going to give her a chance to explain herself, but she better hope I can control my temper. She's on very thin ice right now.
